I am well presented, polite, courteous and a motivated and committed worker who is well organised, having the ability to work systematically to deadlines with precise attention to detail. I work well on my own and with other team members and take great pride in the work I carry out. The skills I have acquired in my past employment and education can be applied in a number of areas.

I feel that my previous experience has given me the motivation to succeed and I am willing to undertake necessary training to fulfil the requirements of any post offered. I regard myself as flexible and willing to learn and would relish the challenges presented to me in employment.

I am willing to undergo a Work Trial to demonstrate my abilities in a particular vacancy. An employer who employs me is also able to claim through the Job Centre, a incentive payment of up to £1000.

I am a keen writer, mostly on history, literature and popular culture. I also attend creative writing workshops, as well as history and local history courses. I also enjoy going to the theatre and cinema and all things relating to I.T., especially web design. I have been involved with voluntary work for a tenants association and with people living with HIV/AIDS and with blind and visually-impaired adults.
